Busting the Digg.com toolbar
Most of you by now have seen the Digg.com toolbar that floats on top of your screen when you use Digg to browse some interesting links. The toolbar, while a cool idea, actually has a fatal flaw: it does a 200 code redirect!!! For those of us not savy enough to know what that mean, its basically saying that when a user clicks on a link to your site via Digg, Digg will get all the credit as a 200 means that they are pulling in the content of your site into theirs. (Read more about it here)
So before you go burning down buildings and mobbing the street there is some simple JavaScript that will bust the Digg.com toolbar and ensure you get full credit for all page views. Add this to your head section:
if (top.location!= self.location)
{
top.location = self.location.href
}
Its that simple, and do not forget to surround it with "script" tags
Here I dug this post give it a try:
